Readmitted
At 3 days old we made an ER trip due to jaundice. His bilirubin level was 20.8. Baby was admitted and kept under phototherapy for 24 hours. We were discharged yesterday morning and his level was 13. We went back this morning to check for rebound and he was back up to 20.5 😔
They were going to admit him, but because it's rare for their levels to rise back up that fast they redrew his blood after a few hours and he was down to 18.7. So we avoided the hospital for tonight, but have to go back tomorrow afternoon and will continue going back until his levels are normal.
