What do you all think?

So when I grew up my dad always kissed my cheek. We never really kissed on the lips. My fiances daughter is 7 and still straddles him when he sits and kisses him on the lips. I guess my question is how old is too old to kiss your dad on the lips? I'm honestly just curious since my dad and I never did this.

Depends on the family. Some people never stop kissing children on the lips. In my opinion, I don't think either parent should be kissing children on the lips. I always get a lot of hate for my view lol but I can't imagine kissing them on the lips.

It depends on the family I seen grown people kids there parents. That's how they were raise so it's normal. In my family my parents never kiss me on the lips so I think it's kinda weird when I see people do it but that's just how I was raise. I wouldn't judge someone who does that.

I was talking about this to someone the other day. My dad always kissed me on the lips (quick peck) and he was never anything other than a loyal, loving father. Apparently, most families kiss on the cheek but i guess it depends on how you grow up. If you have to put a cut off date on it, I'd say change it to kiss on the cheek before high school. Or start out kissing on the cheek if the other is too uncomfortable. Also, little kids seem to go for the lips before the cheek. I don't know why, but I have babysat many kids that tried to kiss me on the lips (girls). I don't like that, especially not being related to them!

My dad never was able to hug or kiss me, mom never kissed me...But some how I've turned into a kisser. I don't think you can be to old to kiss your own child. Just cuz you never grew up like that doesn't mean it's wrong.
