New Mom with Spotting questions

Ok I need help! I have no one to ask, I've been on and off spotting for like two days now. It started really pink then stopped. Yesterday it looked a little brown and now it's back to pink. I'm 5weeks 6days. Everyone just keeps telling me it's implamentation or old blood from that. But I'm to far for that right? Has this happened to anyone else? I know I need to probably just see my doctor but I just started a new job yesterday and I can't take time off of work! They don't even know I'm pregnant yet!
