So tonight we paid for an early elective ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby 5 wks early. Being 16 wks already I knew we should be able to tell. We thought for sure without a doubt it was a boy and all we've longed for! Come to find out it's a girl and I can't help but feel sad and disappointed. My husband is taking it way better than I am.. I know it sounds terrible and selfish. Of course I'm thankful she is healthy regardless but now I feel as if my world is flipped upside down with a girl on the way!! I'm sure I will come around but for now I'm throwing a major pity party for 1! Please tell me my thoughts and feelings are valid!
