I'm wondering what your plans are for visitors after birth? With my daughter. I have my dh, mom and 2 bfs in the room as my birthing team. It was wonderful... UNTIL my MIL (who in weeks prior TOLD me she was going to be in the room) and my FIL walked in in the middle of me pushing. I WAS LIVID... maybe that's why I only pushed for 28 minutes.

This go round, I don't want anyone other than my dh. I don't want visitors for at least a couple hours, if that, other than our daughter, who will be 7. I've already told my dh the only people who will know we are in labor is the babysitter (my parents) because they actually respect me and my boundries. I'm just afraid my dh will text his parents and they will show up again...

So.... what are you planning on doing and if your keeping things private, what are you saying to people to make it clear they need to stay away?
