Our sweet baby girl was born on June 21st, weighing 7 lbs, 9 ounces and 19 inches long. I was induced at 39 weeks due to GD and previous delivery complications. They started pitocon it 4am, I received the epidural at 11am and when checked at 1:30, I was fully dilated. I was really worried about pushing because I pushed for 3 1/2 hours with my son. He was delivered with forceps and I had 4 tears, including one 3rd degree. But when the doctor was paged, the nurse said we'd do a few pushes to see how it was progressing and when she checked me abain, Sorin's head was right there. She almost panicked and said to shut my legs because she might come out before the doctor gets here. When the doctor arrived and checked me, Sorin's head was halfway out before I even began pushing. One contraction and three small pushes later, our little girl arrived! We are so in love! My son thinks she is so awesome and keeps telling all the nurses to come see his new little sister. 💕 Love!
