Frustrated! SO problems

I told my SO that when our baby is born that I have some rules I want to employ- 1.) only him and I while I'm giving birth. He agrees. 2.) our parents have to wait a few minutes so we get to bond with baby before everyone else. The baby has to be cleaned off and weighed and what not and I want him and I to be the first ones to hold her. He says no because they would have been waiting long enough. I say 10 minutes shouldn't make a big difference because they are going to want to hold her but I want skin to skin first.
