Are cold sores an early sign of pregnancy?

Hi all!

I'm currently experiencing cold sore breakouts one after another. I'm not stressed, sick, or have had any major exposure to the sun. And I very rarely experience getting a cold sore much less back to back outbreaks. I've read online it could POSSIBLY be an early sign of pregnancy but of course I know WebMD-ing my symptoms doesn't prove anything. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I've suffered coldsores terribly throughout my life.

I had 1 coldsore after another in the early weeks of pregnancy, was horrible! Had one non stop for a month!

If you're like me, you get coldsores when you're run down/stressed. when pregnant your body's hormones are going crazy, which makes you run down, so yes it could be a symptom!

Late to the party. But with both my pregnancies I got a cold sore at like 10-12 DPO.

Ik I’m late but incase anyone else was wondering I got them bad with 2 of my pregnancies n they always showed up when I was pregnant more so than when I was not and it’s the sign that made me take a test, it’s the increase of hormonal changes 😌
