Relationships. Ugh..

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over two months, and the last couple days we've been kind of on the outs with one another. In the beginning it was amazing, he acted and showed me that he cared about me, but lately he doesn't show me any affection. I asked him what changed from the beggining and he said "he had to make good first impression". I told him that's basically lying to me considering I loved that guy and now that's not him. When I try and talk to him about how I feel he thinks I'm just making a big deal out of something stupid and won't look at my point of view. Let's just say he's very close minded, and it sucks. He says being affectionate just isn't him, yet what I don't understand is, it was him? I honestly don't think it's that hard to show someone you love them if you really do. But, the thing is, is I adore him but I don't know if staying in the relationship is the best idea if he can't come to a compromise with me if I'm upset about something, even if he does think it's "stupid". He says compromise is a sign of weakness. I guess I'm just looking for your guys' thoughts on the situation. I'm very open minded so maybe I can see this from a different point of view.. All thoughts are welcome. :)
