Welcome to the world my baby boy. Born today 6/22 7lbs 11oz, 20 inches. He's due on the 24th but maybe he's tired of listening to mama's complaints. Went to hospital last night at 9pm only 4cm dilated but the contractions were continuous. Had fentanyl and epidural at 11pm. By midnight contractions were spaced out so they gave me pitocin. Water bag broke at 3am but with meconium in it meaning there's a possibility that my baby might have swallowed it too and might go to his lungs. There will be pediatrician present during delivery just in case he will not cry which is an indication tha t he swallowed it. At that time im only 9cm dilated and said to wait til I reach 10 and that his head is really low. At 5am finally more contractions 10cm was able to push only on 4 tries. The nurse and the midwife was really good in guiding me. Thank God that he was able to cry by himself. Loud and proud. There were still some meconium that went to his nose and stomach but everything went well.
