I began having contractions at 9:30 on Sunday night (6-12-16) they were all in my back I felt nothing but severe back pain. I thought for sure this wasn't labor I'm only 36 weeks pregnant. At 2 am I decided to call labor and delivery and they told me to come in. No sooner did I cal they began to go away I was able to fall asleep and when I woke up at 7 the next day they were back (still there) and they were worse. I decided to go into labor and delivery where the said I was dilated to one and this pain could go on for weeks (no way in hell was I about to feel like this for weeks). They sent me home and the contractions never stopped. I came home and layed in bed all day I was in so much pain but didn't want to get sent home again. At 2:30 am Tuesday I had hit my breaking point. I decided to go back in to L&D when I got there they proceeded to act like nothing and kept telling me oh this can last weeks. Finally my mom asked ten to check me. I was dilated to four and 100% effaced. I then got an epidural and things started to progress a lot more. The doctor came in a few hours later and broke my water. I dials red from 7-10 in about an hour. My little man was born at 12:24 pm Tuesday 6-14-16 he was perfect he was a month early and had a hard time getting his lungs going but the doctors were amazing and he is now a healthy happy week old baby and I love him more than words can express.
