Protective partner?

I find the bigger my bump gets the more protective my partner becomes. He wouldn't let me stand on a chair yesterday to put decorations up, then text me when he was at work promising him I wouldn't stand on the chair. He won't let me carry anything, not even my coat. I went to put a picture on the wall yesterday and he didn't want me using the hammer as its heavy. Bless him it's really sweet I feel very looked after and protected he's always been sweet. Has anyone else found their partner being very protective over you and bump?
