I'm scared to have sex with my boyfriend..

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months now. He and I were best friends for 4 years previous to us dating. He's been hinting about him being tired of being a virgin. I love him so much. I'm still a virgin I'm just terrified that I'll embarrass myself when we do have sex. I'm under 18 but I know I'm ready. I'm on birth control to help settle my period. Do any of you ladies have advice for me? Please help!
