Do you have to request to get a bow on the beanie they provide for the baby at the hospital after birth?

I have Kaiser with my second baby girl on the way. I had a different insurance with my first and we didn't get a bow beanie nor did we know to request one. Just curious! TIA

Nope my hospital gives hats with the bow.

Your Hosptial can make one, or you can. It's just two hats either sewn together, or inserted through a slit of one of the hats. You can check Pinterest for clearer instructions, or head over to etsy & purchase one!

You buy them. You can buy them on etsy. But I don't think most hospitals carry them. I'm sure some do. But most don't.

The nurse just made it right there in front of me without me asking. She cut a couple slits in one and tucked some extra material from another in it. If they don't do it you can probably ask for a second beanie and do it right there real quick.
