A quarter Japanese

I'm a quarter Japanese (my grandma is from Japan, she came from Okinawa Japan a good time ago) and I'm never sure if it's ok if it's ok that I'm oroud of that part of my heritage? My worry is I don't look super Japanese, but I'm atill a good amount, and I want to connect with that, but I feel like people are going to judge me and assume I'm some dumb white white who "appropriating" the culture, and people are always talking about mixed and being half one half something else, but I'm just not sure if a quarter can still count as mixed in similar context or if it's only people who are half something who can count it?
