What is too old to have a child

Question

So I just turned 32 and I'm single with no one in site and I do not have any kids. Everyone keeps saying how having your 1 st child in your older years is hell on your body. I would like to have a child but when is it too late to have them? I already had to have 1 ovary taken out I'm a little scared that the older I get my chances are decreasing and what if the other person wants kids😳 but I can't have them.

Having a child at any age can be hell on your body. At age 22 i had preeclampsia with my first son we were both very ill. He didn't come out in the best shape but recovered fastly. I am now pregnant with my second son and i don't even know where to begin. I am very high risk. I probably won't make it full term. My baby has tried to come already at 26 weeks. My point is regardless of when you have a baby anything can happen it isn't always dependent on age. There's women in their 40s have a breeze of a pregnancy

I'm 42 and 24 weeks pregnant. I'm in great shape. Its probably hell on your body if you're overweight, unhealthy or have a major health condition. I exercise daily and have always taken pretty good care of myself (ok, I lay in the sun, enjoy too much wine when I'm not pregnant and eat too much sugar) but before looking like I swallowed a basketball I had a flat tummy and other than a few grays and wrinkles didn't look or act my age. You're young.

I'm 40 and just had 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks heartbeat very strong and measuring perfectly. Women can have babies in their twenties and have issues so I don't believe age is really a problem as long as you look after yourself and the little thing growing inside you all will be great ☺

To late is when your menopause starts, between 45-50. Cause then all your eggs are used up. 
Until then you always can try. 
After 36 the risk that the baby has down syndrome rises. 
And yes late pregnancy is more risky to the mothers too but we have a great health system nowadays, giving birth has never been saver.

My mother had my sister at 38 and me at 42, bother of us were healthy as babies and continue to be today. She had no problems at all during the pregnancies and had no problems getting pregnant naturally.

I had my first child when I was 36 years old. It definitely has taken longer for my body to adjust back to normal, but I admit that my effort has only been intermittent. 2 1/2 years later I am still 12 pounds above prepregnancy weight. But I have no stretch marks on my body is pretty much the same except for the extra weight.

I think some older people have a vision of what a good age to have a baby is that doesn't meet today's standards. It's no longer necessary to get knocked up at 20 years old. As you can see from the comments plenty of women have children even well into their 40s. Do what is best for you and don't let others scare you! That being said if you do really want a baby there are ways to do it on your own without mr right!
