Can someone please explain to me why most religions are so against teaching evolution? I'm Christian and a science teacher and I enjoy teaching about evolution... What makes it so controversial? Because I don't get it.. Evolution is really based on natural selection and how genetic mutations positively benefited the animals affected.. Someone posted about this and I saw people getting offended but had huge misconceptions about the evolution theory. Let's hear some reasoning.. All I ask is for no bashing.
