How do you choose?

I'm loving the idea of the dula and midwife, but I know I want my baby to be born in a hospital. How do you choose your birth plan? Does anyone else want to go all natural (if possible to do so and momma & baby be safe)??? I've definitely still got time to think (7w6d) but I'm finding it hard to properly mind map my decisions right now lol.

I'm having a midwife and a doula at a hospital. I actually was with an OB and they and the hospital were not as supportive of me wanting things such as: delivering in any position, no IV fluids, hydrotherapy, etc.
So I looked for a midwife and talked through my birth plan with them. Most of the things I wanted were standard for their group. It is so important that Your provider is on the same page for your delivery. Good luck!

You can have a midwife and still have baby in a hospital! I'm hoping to do that myself. As for birth, I've just been weighing pros and cons a lot. This mama is having an epidural 😂 But I have quite a bit of time too at 9+4. It's tough though!

I'm having a doula and birthing at the hospital with my OB. Only midwives within 3 hours of my area deliver in birthing centers and do not have hospital privileges so probably something to check out in your area! Goodluck

I'm having a mid wife and doula at the hospital. I plan on laboring at home as long as possible and our hospital is very natural birth friendly

I had a midwife and was at a birthing center. I liked some of the midwives I saw and the one that did my delivery was awesome. I didn't have an epidural and I basically did everything myself she just caught the baby when she came out. With it being my first birth it was definitely a great birth experience besides the awful back labor
