Can taking prenatal vitamins help you conceive?

Just wondering about any tips any has for TTC.. Been trying for over two years now and it never happens. I'm convinced I just can't have my own bundle of joy.. Any advice is greatly appreciated, (going to the doctors is out of the question at the moment since I don't have a pcp at the moment)

Back in February I told my doctor that my (now) husband and I wanted to ttc. She recommended starting them immediately even though I want going to go off of bc until the end of May. She said to think of it like cleaning (and preparing) your house before a guest arrived.
