How long did it take to recover after C-section?

Question

By recover I don't necessarily mean fully, but off prescription meds, able to move around and bend over without horrible pain, deal with baby alone etc. 
My SO only has 2 wks off with me after and I'm starting to get really concerned about not handling things on my own after those 2 wks. TIA

If you push yourself to do things you'll be fine. I was off my meds the first week I actually only took them twice after I got home. And I would bend and squat just to get use to the pain by the second week I could handle it. Just don't over do things

It will be hard at first but you can do it! My husband only gets one week off. After my first I was terrified that first Monday he went back to work but I survived just fine. :)
Now I'm scared about taking care of my alMost 2 year old and new baby by myself after this c section!

My husband only had 3 days off after my c section. I got discharged and he went back to work so I had to be in my own. 
I was out and about the first week with baby. 👍🏼

I am worried about this too, if I end up with  another csection this time. I am having a vbac, hopefully. It took me 5-6 weeks to "recover" from my previous c-section. I would line up some help now for the 3rd and 4th week for sure. If you do not end up needing it, great!

I'm 4 weeks pp via csection today and I'm not gonna lie I'm still in pain, still wearing pads due to discharge, still have high blood pressure, still have stickers on my incision as I'm scared to pull them off.  It's no picnic but after a week I was able to get off pain meds (except Tylenol) and walk around better, around 2 weeks I was finally feeling myself although like I said still dealing w some parts of it still at 4 weeks.

I had my c section 2 weeks ago on Monday, I'm able to walk around and do stuff but try not to overdo it.

I was off pain meds within two weeks.  I am currently four weeks post c-section and feel great.  So great in fact, that I keep forgetting I'm not supposed to lift anything heavier than my daughter.  :/ When I do, I'm in slight pain.  It's still uncomfortable to cough or sneeze though.

I started to breastfeed but it just didn't work for us. He is such a hungry baby so now I express milk and give it in a bottle and also supplement with formula.

I also needed a few blood transfusions after my section which temporarily stopped by supply and because I was always hooked up to one machine or another it was difficult to hold him and I required a lot of assistance.

As sad as I was, he's never lost any weight and is a perfectly healthy happy baby x

I was fully mobile in 2 weeks but still struggling to lift. Just take your time. I made sure I had some sort of big pillow in each room that I could put little one on to when cuddling him and also made sure that I always had somewhere to put him that didn't require bending right down for him.
