Hey ladies,

So I am 16 weeks pregnant and I just switched to a new obgyn yesterday bc i felt that for being high risk (blood clot history) I wasn't getting the care I needed from my ob. Well, turns out my old obgyn forgot to order a blood glucose test, so when the new doc found this out yesterday she put a rush order on one. Especially considering I've had headaches 5-6 days a week for the past month.

I just got the call this morning that I failed my test. Normal limit is 135, and my blood glucose was 169! The nurse who called said that's really high. I have my 3 hour test scheduled for Tuesday to confirm if it's gestational diabetes, but I'm freaking out...

I could really use some insight/past experiences that you've been through in regards to this
