So my boyfriend and I are very excited that we are expecting our first little one! I always assumed we would find out the gender but he is set on not finding out until little one gets here. This terrifies me! We have absolutely nothing since this is our first and not finding out the gender would make it more difficult to get things ready. At the same time I don't want to take the moment away from him if that's really what he wants. He said it's OK for me to find out but I know if I did I would let it slip or someone would tell him accidently. I am looking for advice from mommies who didn't find out the gender with their first on how difficult it really made things. I know you can get gender neutral clothing, equipment, nursery items etc. but I am not a fan of grey and yellow. How do you prepare? How do you have a baby shower?
