How long to continue prenatal vitamin?

How long are you guys continuing your prenatal vitamins after being postpartum? Are there postpartum vitamins? I didn't see any in my Walmart or anywhere else....but I live in a super small town. Lol

I plan to continue to take them. It's suppose to be good for you either way. I plan to breastfeed so it should be a good supplement. Also hoping it'll help continue the healthiness of my nails and hair.

I'm 3 weeks pp and still take them. I'm breastfeeding but plan on taking them for a long time because they help my hair and nails...and they're good for you :)

Prenatal can be used postpartum too. It's recommended up to a year after baby or as long as you're breastfeeding. Actual a vitamin every day of your life is good. Even without kids.

If you're breast feeding, for as long as you are going to.
I'm probably gonna keep taking them even after that. My hair and skin has improved a lot w/ them.

I think I'm going to finish out the bottle that I bought right before I gave birth and probably not take any more after that. I've still got a ways to go before it's gone. but I don't think it'll hurt you any to keep taking them if you want. lots of women start taking them before they're even pregnant. so it should be fine.

Are u going to breast feed?  My doc had me stay on them because I am. My son is 7 weeks old and I still take them daily.
