Someone please tell me they spotted and the pregnancy was still okay?

I am 5 weeks 5 days and I just went to the bathroom and wiped brownish bloody discharge. I have two boys and I never bled one drop with either pregnancy. I've had this feeling like something was going to go wrong and devastate me like this. Please someone tell me they spotted this far along and they were fine!

I had spotting when I was 5 weeks 5 days that was minimal but lasted for 2 days. I haven't had any since and have been to the doctor twice to see our little bean and the heartbeat. Try not to stress!! My doctor said spotting is normal and wasn't concerned unless it got heavy. Best wishes!!!💜

I'm 7 weeks now but last week (week 6) I had spotting on Monday and Thursday. Everything I've read said spotting is normal as long as it's pink or brown and not much. Be on the look out for bright red blood, like period blood, or severe cramps. Mine was only when I would go to the bathroom and wipe, it was never enough to get on my underwear. If you're concerned though reach out to your doctor. Hang in there!

My mother recently told me she had quite a lot of bleeding when she was pregnant with me. The doctor thought she was miscarrying, but when they checked, there I was. Born 2 weeks late and over 8lbs, so it had no lasting effect!

Okay I am alright now! It was just one instance of brown discharge. And nothing else all day. No cramping or pain. I'm super nauseated but I feel a lot less freaked out. I think I just panicked because it's never happened to me but after reading stories all over the internet I feel like it's probably fine. I have an appointment on Monday when I'm 6 weeks. Crossing my fingers that everything is okay and I don't spot anymore!
