Diminished Ovarian Reserve
Need some encouragement.
Husband and I are on our 3 attempt at <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>.
1st cycle had a cyst and couldn't start meds.
2nd cycle body didn't respond to meds and converted to <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>, which failed.
3rd cycle started with 6 follicles. Each sonogram showed 1 fewer until I had 4 follicles going into retrieval. Only 1 of the follicles contained an egg and I found out today that it fertilized.
I just turned 35 and hubs is 37. Been trying for 1 year. With so few follicles (4-6 on average) at all of my baseline sonos, I'm wondering if we are wasting our money. Maybe we just need to move on to donor eggs.
Anyone have thoughts or experiences to share? I'm so discouraged reading about ER's with 10-30 eggs. Feeling hopeless.
