I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and am wondering if anyone else out there does as well... If so, how much did you end up paying out of pocket for your labor and delivery?

It depends on the type of plan you have through them there are so many different plans... High deductible low deductible no deductible it's impossible to compare just companies

I'm active duty with Tricare so mine is free.

I'm going to end up paying around $3000 that's hospital and doctors fees (including all my prenatal care).  Babies are expensive... But totally worth it!

I have bcbs and my bill was 38,000 and the statement said I should expect a 677$ bill. My husband has Tricare so I'm not sure if that's including his or if his will pick up that 677$.

We're still waiting. Our boy was born in Feb and we received 1 bill of $175. We're bcbs federal so it might be different. \_(ツ)_/¯

We have 80/20 Blue Sheild and I had an emergency csection and it was 1,700 for the hospital, but after all the doctor bills it's about $2,250. Also when I got pregnant we paid my OBGYN up front for her services and that was another 1,200

My hospital bills were right under $17,000. I paid a little under $500.

You should look at your deductible and max-out of pocket on your policy...that will help you understand how much you're going to pay. Epidurals cost money. C-sections cost a lot of money. I had a long (but uncomplicated) labor/delivery and the bill was $12,000. I paid about $2,000 of that.

I have bcbs and my bill was $250 but I paid it while in the hospital still so they took $50 off and I paid $200
