Did you call your unborn child a girl or boy as soon as you got a positive?

So my husband and I just got 3 positives. My husband doesn't want me calling our first child any names until we know the sex. I want a girl so I'm calling the baby Katie Scarlett (the name if she's a girl). What do you guys think?

I just refered to my baby as "the baby" until i found out the gender. Its not hard.

My family all called baby by the girl name we picked out. 8 different wivestales said girl, and to our somewhat surprise found out he was a boy at 15w.....up until 30 some weeks my mom kept saying "his thing is going to disappear and it's going to be a girl" lol....

I thought it was a boy so I would have been calling her by the wrong name 😂 my husband calls me Sweetpea so he just called the baby little Sweetpea.

I'm 26 weeks and still say "it"or "the baby" out of habit sometimes and sometimes I say she and her but I could care less what I call her, it's my baby!!

We are naming our first the same name whether it's a boy or a girl. So we will just call. The baby that name from the beginning. I'm not sure what we will do with our kids after that lol

Better than saying 'it' and for some reason it makes me cringe when people use the word 'baby' like its the child's name during pregnancy.

I called my daughter Maddie through my entire pregnancy (short for Madisen) but when I saw her face I said she's a Mickey (short for Mikaylah)not a Maddie.  But even before the ultrasound I knew she was a girl.
