Did your belly button piercing hurt?

I'm so scared. I've been putting it off but I really want one done. I just heard the clamp hurts bad and just the thought of that thick needle kills me.  Can i numb it before I go

I was soo scared to get mine done but during & after I was like "wow, that's it?" Really it's quick & the thing that "hurts" the most is the clamps. But other than that it's worth it.😊

Yes, but my skin is super tight and I don't have any fat on my stomach. So when the piercer tried to put the jewelry in following the needle, it wouldn't go through the top hole. So he had to take it out, repierce it and then stretch the top hole and THEN follow through with the jewelry. That was pretty painful.
