Hotel Room

My boyfriend goes home Wednesday after finishing university. I get to see him for his graduation on the 12th July but I'm planning on going to see him near the end of July. I will be staying in a hotel near his parents house and I was just wondering if I book the hotel for 1 person if he will be able to come into my room (not to stay overnight or anything) but yknow to have some "alone time" 😏

I don't really want to have to book a room for 2 people if he's not going to be staying overnight, plus it's an extra £40 for 2 people and that's money I don't have 😂
