Has anyone experienced crippling joint pain in the early stages of pregnancy? I've read that there is a hormone released that naturally relaxes the joints in preparation for child birth and that it can feel painful. This is just crazy though! I can't walk without hobbling, I can't bend over, and I'm barely sleeping because of the pain. Most if it is concentrated in my knees, the top of my legs, and ankles.

I've not had significant weight gain yet, so I don't think it's that. Both my OB and PCP seem very unconcerned. My first appointment with my OB isn't for several weeks.

I'm just wondering if any other ladies have/are experiencing this symptom.
