Called child protective services.
I called CPS on my daughter former daycare provided. This person is also my husbands family member. The investigation was inconclusive and only minor citations were issued to the person. They are still able to operate their home daycare and care for young children alone. I called after observing age inappropriate behavior that was indicative of sexual abuse.
Now as time goes on and family parties happen we don't go. I won't bring my child near some one I know has abused them. It's getting to be a bigger and bigger problem as we don't attend family events. Every one asks where we are. I am starting to get pressure to go more and more. It's as if ever one else, people who have descriptions of the behavior seen, have forgotten. No one cares about what happened to my child. They all interact with the abuser like they are just a great person, they are family and all is forgotten.
