Negative pregnancy tests?

Hi everyone! 
I'm still getting negative pregnancy tests, but I've never missed a period in my life until now. I'm 5w1d and this is my first pregnancy... is this weird, am I the only one this is happening to??

Edit: I will of course go to the doctor if I don't get a positive soon, this post is merely asking if this has happened to anyone else. I know I'm pregnant despite the tests and I'm not asking for advice. Thanks

If you've not had a positive test I wouldn't be saying "first pregnancy" and "5+1" 😐

I didn't test positive until I was 16 days late and that was faint, even my hcg didn't show til then. A week late my blood work was less then 5, day 16 it was 32. I was 7 weeks and 3 days before I knew.

My friend didn't get a positive home test with her first until she was 6 or so weeks.  Her son is now 7 and doing well!

If you haven't had a period but also haven't had a positive pregnancy test I would call your doctor and see if you can get a blood test to be sure one way or the other.  Good luck!
