My son was born at 30w. He's now 11 months and doing great. People (including mother) have mentioned there's a higher chance my son may be autistic because of his early birth. Is this true?

I know nothing about autism unfortunately. Not for not caring, but it wasn't relevant to the life phase I was in. Of course now as a mom to a preemie, autism has caught my attention. I'm still learning, I have no particular opinion as of the moment. I'm interested in learning if my son is at risk.

Thoughts? Resources I could go to for research? Baby's next appointment isn't until late July/early August. I'm working on my list of questions for the pediatrician when it's time.
