Is a baby carrier/wrap worth it?

I'm a FTM due in August and am wondering if a baby carrier/wrap is worth the purchase? I registered for a K'Tan carrier but didn't get one at my shower. Before I go out and buy it, I want to make sure I will truly use it!

We use ring slings, absolutely love it! It's the only way we're able to get things done around the house, and go out with ease.

Absolutely worth it! My daughter hated the swing and just wanted to be close to me. I wore her all the time. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc!

The K'tan is what I wanted but I ended up getting the JJ Cole Agility because it just slides on like a shirt.

It depends on the baby. My first baby lived in his Moby wrap. My second hated the Moby and would only do the harness carrier for a short duration. I'd say it's worth a try, if baby likes it, it can be super helpful.

When my baby is fussy the K Tan really helps him sleep. It's easy for when I need to take my dog on a walk as well. I say get one.

Just imagine how much you'll be holding your baby (especially as they get heavy) & then imagine doing it hands free. 😳

My first baby loooooved being carried. My second one, not so much. It makes life SO much easier

With my first I had a bjorn. It was fine, but not great. I rarely used it and in the Texas heat it was just too hot to use. I'll be doing a wrap this time around and making changes as the baby gets older if I need to.

I use mine a lot, my son is 1 now and I still carry him in the ergo sometimes
