IUD Birth Control
Hey everyone!
I went to the gynecologist for the first time last week, and to talk to her about birth control options. I opted for getting the Skyla IUD. And I have a couple questions.
I have to call the office when I start my period to make my appointment. (She said it's the best way to tell that I'm not pregnant, and easier to insert lol). Should I do this for towards the middle or end of my period?
Should I not wear a tampon that day?
How did they tell you to prepare that? If this was any other day, I wouldn't be freaking out. It's just kind of weird to prepare for that when I'm going to be on my period! ANY advice is appreciated!
