Refusing left breast?

Question

The last few days my 9 week old has suddenly started refusing my left breast. He'll suck for a minute but then unlatches and fusses until he gets the other breast. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

This happened with my daughter at 3 months old. She had torticoliis. If the muscles in their neck get tight it hurts for them to turn it...does your baby prefer to lay their head to one side at tummy time or sleeping? That's the only thing I can think of for bot wanting to nurse on the one breast

My baby does this occasionally. For whatever reason if I hand express some milk then bring her back, she will latch and eat just fine. Not sure if it's fast letdown or if she wants hindmilk. Either way this fixes it. Hope this helps!

My baby was doing that earlier this week and it started really messing with my supply in that side so I ended up pumping that side empty then he took it fine. No idea if it was coming out to quickly or tasted funny or what but problem was solved!
