I got married at 16. I think it's fine as long as you actually know what your getting yourself into, depends on how mature your relationship is. It's a whole new level into the relationship. It either strengthens your relationship or worsens your relationship. Mine just got stronger. I'm not encouraging to get engaged or married early but you really need to know that you can see your self 20-60 years later with that person and going though everything they go though and what your going to though alone. It's not easy but you really need to reassure yourself and make sure he'll be just as devoted to you. Good luck and hope everything works out 😊

Personally I think 17 is too young to even be engaged. Even if you don't get married for years! You haven't fully matured and are only either a sophomore or junior in high school. I thought I was mature at 16 but now 9 years later I realize how much of a child I still was. Does it work for some people? Yes, but you are still a child. Grow up some!

Honestly... It completely depends on the people.. I was engaged at 16, married at 17 and I'm still married at 22. Being young and married isn't easy and if you're actually taking that commitment both parties need to be willing to support each other and grow. You're young and need to be able to achieve your individual goals and help your partner do the same :).

I've been dating my BF since we were 15, now 21, and we are still not married! If you knkw you want to be together why rush? Marriage complicates so much!! Grow up a little first and go have fun!!!! There is no specific age! I'm engaged at 18! Well 19 now but still! You just have to understand that you are both still maturing so there are going to be some rough times that most couples won't go through! The great thing is that you get to help each other find out who you are and what you want to do in life! You get to be apart of their even more of their goods and also their bads! If you genuinely sit down and ask yourself if you're ready and you are, then go for it girl! Def have that convo with your SO too! So happy for you
