What's the best type of birth control ?

I'm thinking about getting an IUD but I'm not certain yet. I don't really want my mom to know either so that why I'm kinda pulling away from the pills in case she finds them one day. Any suggestions ?

All birth control is good, and super effective.
Some people experience side effects, others don't.

If you don't want to try pills (which I can understand), try these or at least research them some so you can get an idea for them.

Purple indicates progestin only methods, green is combination methods, and the orange one is non-hormonal.

I myself have tried pills and have a Mirena IUD, and both are great for me.
