How to tell your parents your pregnant?

Im 20 years old, 21 in november now coming im in a steady realtionship with my boyfriend now for 2 years.. we have just found out im pregnant and im really scared to tell my mummy but more scared of what other people think i know i shouldnt but im a person who worries alot of what other people think!please can someone give me a bit of advice thank you x

I was 20 when I told my mum that I was pregnant! I had only been un a relationship with my boyfriend for 6 months at the time, but we had been friends for a number of years before then. I was so scared how she would react, but at the end of the day I needed to tell her! I hot a bag full of baby onsies and a blanket and handed it to her and she figured out and she was really pleased and was super pleased my daughter arrived. That was 7 years ago and I still got nervous when i called my mum up to let her know I was expecting again ( i live in australia bow and my family live in uk so was unable to do the whole baby gifts again)

She may get really happy so why worry? I married  two months after turning 21 and had my first baby next year, everyone in my family was happy because it was a stable relationship, 14 years after and still marry. You'll be fine your mom will lve to know she is having a grandchild.

I think you should take her out to eat and just begin randomly talking about babies. As a mom, she will definitely catch on & fast. Your about to be 21 so at least you made it through your teenage years.. Your basically fully grown so I would hope it would she would take it more easy

I wrote my mom a cute little "grammy" poem.. i put it in a little frame that had pacifiers and teddy bears on it, put the frame in a gift card box and put the box in a white bag with tissue paper and presented it to her on her mother's birthday (my "Grammy" who passed away 17 years ago). I wasn't home when she opened it but she knew what it meant...although I don't think she wanted to admit the truth at first, she came around later that day. I'm 26 and had only been with baby's father about a month before I found out I was pregnant. Things happen, but you're an adult. My mom understands I'm self sufficient, and she's is enjoying the thought of her grand bean (Ive been calling baby "bean" until I can find out gender). Your mom might be surprised at first, but she'll come around.☺
