Can I use this on my baby?

I've been reading about the ergonomics of the jolly jumper and reading that it isn't good to put too much pressure on the spine at this age because it is still mostly cartilage and it can cause some back problems. This looks kinda similar in that they are in an upright position when they aren't really ready to support themselves in that way yet.

About 4-5m is when I let my babies play with one. When they have enough body control to not only hold their head up but not thrash around in it. They need fairly matured torso control! :) if they're still very wobbly you can put a blanket around their tummies to fill the gap as well!

We have that oball exersaucer and our  baby will be 4 mo on July 3. We've been using it in short spurts for a few weeks. She really loves the music but can't manipulate all the toys super well yet...she can grab them and turn them a little but that's it so far. She prefers to be upright and has good head control- I think that's the most important thing to consider.
