Doctor going out of town 😳
I'm 37w 3days and my doctor told me today she is leaving for vacation until July 5th.... Should I be worried?? She seems so uninterested and she is a very expensive doctor that charges $3000 just to deliver a baby. To add to that they called to drop me as a client when I was 8 months because they said back in December 2015 Aetna stopped covering her services in network. I filled out paperwork over the phone with Aetna while crying after that call to continue my prenatal care in network because it was in network when I first started receiving prenatal care, a week later Aetna approved me, I let them know and gave them the new paperwork but when I came for my doctor appointment the whole office whispered afterwards like they were intentionally trying to get rid of me because they already got the $3000 cash from me. I don't know if it's pregnancy hormones or if my doctor really doesn't want to deliver my baby, but she's white and I'm one of 2 black patients she has and they don't let me forget it when I go to the doctor appts. I pray that has nothing to do with this because it's too late to get a new doctor and I really need the $3000 we paid to go to my deductible which is $6850! I don't know what to do 😔
