Pelvic rest?

What do they mean by pelvic rest ? I went into the ER and they called my doctor. He was the on call doctor and told them to tell me to be on pelvic rest for two weeks.

No strenuous activity, and no sex is what my doc said to me when I was on pelvic rest.

Im on pelvic rest for two weeks too, i had bleeding that was due to me having a subchorionic hematoma beside the baby & im 7 weeks. Its hard lol ... Ahhh i hope the days go by fast also get my first sono to see if the hematoma disappeared

Usually complete pelvic rest means no sex, no orgasms.  I'd call your obgyn tho. ER docs only know so much..
