When did you annouce

Question

Hi Guys, just curious as to when you all/are going to annouce your pregnancy?

Obvs to everyone I am going to wait till at least 8-12weeks. So far only me, my husband, my sister, my in-laws know. Not sure when to tell my parents as we aren't that close and don't want them to get too carried away just yet...

We've told everyone we're close to. We lost a pregnancy in November (it was ectopic), and it required surgery. No one but my mom knew I was pregnant, so not only was the emergency surgery a shock to everyone, but finding out we had lost a baby was a tremendous blow.

During recovery, we had no support network. No one had known we were pregnant, so no one had had the opportunity to be excited with us, or to grieve with us. No one knew what to say, or how to act around us. We promised ourselves if we were ever blessed with another pregnancy, we would tell everyone. If something does happen, we have a safety net to fall in to and friends and family to grieve with. I couldn't do that alone again.

This is going to be our Rainbow baby so we are going to wait a while to tell anyone. I'm thinking about telling my family on my 30th birthday in October. We'll be over halfway there and know the sex of the baby.

With our first 2 (a 2 year old and a still birth in February) we told our immediate family as soon as we found out and our friends and extended family after the 1st trimester. It turned out that with our first, we found out Christmas Eve so that was a great gift for the family!

My sister in law took me too the doctor for blood work so she knew and freakin blabbed to hubby's mom just now...I am trying so hard not to be mad but I just can't deal! It's my first baby and we were trying for almost 2 years

I'm so up in the air about this. I'm 5 weeks. I found out Sunday and told my husband, a couple friends who were my support system while we've been trying and my parents. I told my husband he could tell two of his friends so he has other dudes to process with. I'm so excited to share the news with my stepson who is 7 but if I miscarry I worry it'll break his heart. I'm taking it one step at a time. We'll see how my 8 week scan goes and reevaluate the idea of telling more people then but likely wait until 12

I'm 4 weeks and I plan on telling my parents and other close family members soon. My SO already told his parents because he was so excited and they live in Brazil anyways so it's not like they will spoil it for anyone. I think I'm going to wait a while to announce on social media, maybe 12+ weeks? I just kind of want to have a little while to myself without anyone asking me questions lol.

We told my sister, my in laws, and our close friends who also did IVF a few months ago. We will probably tell my parents in the next month, I'm not sure they are going to be super excited. They need time to process big life events so I'm not looking forward to that conversation either

I haven't told anyone but my husband yet. I am 4 weeks + 2 and I found out 6 days ago, so I am still very nervous it is going to stick. My sister's wedding is next weekend so I think I am going to wait until after it is done to tell my parents when I am about 6 weeks, and then tell my siblings and around 8 weeks if I can make it that long without spilling my secret!

My last pregnancy I miscarried at ten weeks. So I'm waiting until my second trimester. My mom and a couple people at work are the only ones who know right now. My boyfriend hasn't told his family yet either.
