Target Registry

Registered at Target despite reading some bad reviews from a few years back. I figured most of the reviews I had read were old enough that surely they had addressed the bugs.

Had my shower this last weekend; IT FAILED MISERABLY.

For the 24 hours before the shower, no one could see it, print it, or access it, period. Then at the baby shower I learned from a few people that saw the registry prior that week, it had glitched for them and had marked the things they bought multiple times. A couple people had seen it as "completed" and other people saw a full registry with not one thing bought.

Everyone just kinda took a guess at what we needed and taped the receipt with it. I felt so horrible because other than 'congratulations'; 'I'm sorry' was the most said thing at the shower. They were all so frustrated with the registry that it took up a big part of the conversation.

After I apologized, and sent everyone home happy, I sorted through the multiples and started taking things back. They fought every return and even though most things were bought Friday or Saturday. They marked everything down that they could, because apparently every item had gone on clearance in the 3 days I had taken to return them. On the racks though, they are all still full price. I brought it up only to be ignored. My guests hard earned money is lost in the Target abyss. When I finally made it to the check stand they then refused my completion coupon saying that it didn't work. The digital coupon they sent me was invalid.

I left and when I got home and looked at my registry, and to my horror, they had started deleting stuff off my registry before I could use my coupons. I'm still 33 days from my 'event'. Complete disaster.

I'm so disappointed! DO NOT REGISTER WITH TARGET!
