Everyone keeps including that in their posts but I'm completely lost. Does that mean the test changes after a few mins?

What happens:

About three weeks after your last menstrual period, a fertilized egg implants in the uterus, and cells that would become the placentabegin to produce levels of the pregnancy hormone hCG that are high enough to detect on a blood or urine test. However, for some reason it does not complete implantation — an ultrasound will not be able to detect a gestational sac or placenta developing — resulting in bleeding around a week after your regular period was due. If you have heavy bleeding (with or without cramping) after a positive pregnancy test, call your doctor right away, as you may be experiencing a chemical pregnancy.

Basically you tested early and got a positive but period comes and you're not pregnant. It's natural and unfortunately happens a lot.
