Peak Day and CM

Glow says today is my peak day I'm feeling a little crampy which obviously could be o cramping but when I checked my cm this morning which I do at the same time every morning it was light and somewhat cream color. I'm confused about this because I thought fertile cm was ew or clear runny? Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. TIA
