Sorry guys I just have to vent. During my year TTC and far before that I have been fascinated with the world of natural birth. Ina May is my hero and I couldn't wait to have a hypnobirthing water birth. After a conversation with my insurance company it turns out they don't cover midwives- only physicians. I am outraged and completely crushed. This is craziness. I know that my birth plan will not be respected in the same way in a traditional hospital setting.
