Diluted urine?

Question

Can your urine be too diluted to detect and lh surge? I had an almost positive around 10am and I just took another but it's very faint...could it just be too diluted to pick up lh? 
Ps I didn't pee as much as I thought I had to. Only a little bit

Wow. Deleted my own comment while trying to flip my screen. Bah! Anyway, said something like pretty much diluted if you didn't do a one-two hour hold. I don't believe LH should go down that quickly :/ but I could be wrong

I have this issue every cycle. My packaging recommends a 4 hour hold in between tests so that's what I do BUT I drink a lot of water so it's usually a miserable week... Lol. I have had diluted ones from too much water in between so I've learned not to drink anything in the 2 hours leading up to my test. Good luck.
