Dehydration, water being too hot, or toxicity of shampoo and other body care products can all have effect on your physiology.  Also, with the water being heated in the shower, things like radon can be an issue as well.

Personally I am now linking this kind of experience to being one of my symptoms of chronic underlying infection (Lyme's and Co-infection)

Yes!! I don't handle heat well,so if the shower is too warm I get lightheaded.

I did faint once after I got out of a bath it was years ago and at night. And all I remember is being in the floor so I figure I fainted and glass I didn't hit my has on the bathroom counter or tub cause everyone in my house was asleep.
