Hiw do you relax?? (Anxiety, help please)
Hey ladies! So I was officially diagnosed with anxiety about six years ago which was great because it gave me an explanation for why my brain has acted like it has my whole life. As the years have gone by I have learned how to cope with this by using different grounding exercises and staying active. But last week was really stressful for me. My boyfriend was nearly killed, my mother was admitted to the hospital, and I had a surgery. Everyone is fine now, just a heads up. This occurred in just a span of three days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Since Tuesday I've had around 15 panic attacks. Not just anxiety attacks, like full blown, cannot-function-for-the-life-of-me panic attacks. Because of this I've been, obviously, on the fritz. My brain is foggy and I can't remember things or speak very well. I have the day off of work tomorrow and I need to recover. Any advice? Relaxing is something I suck at a lot so please share anything that helps you! Thanks in advance :)
